- Founded in 1916, the Portland Cement Association represents cement companies in the United States and Canada. It conducts market development, engineering, research, education, and public affairs programs.
- National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association, NSSGA (http://www.nssga.org/)
- Founded Feb. 12, 2001 as a consolidation of the National Stone Association and National Aggregates Association, NSSGA represents the crushed stone, sand, and gravel industries. Its member companies produce more than 90 percent of the crushed stone and 70 percent of the sand and gravel consumed annually in the United States. More than three billion tons of aggregate (or 2.34 billion metric tons) were produced in 2008 at a value of approximately $19.4 billion, contributing nearly $40 billion to the GDP of the United States.

- Founded in 1955, the National Asphalt Pavement Association is the only trade association that exclusively represents the interests of the Hot Mix Asphalt producer and paving contractor on the national level with Congress, government agencies, and other national trade and business organizations. NAPA supports an active research program designed to answer questions about environmental issues and to improve the quality of HMA pavements and paving techniques used in the construction of roads, streets, highways, parking lots, airports, and environmental and recreational facilities. The Association provides technical, educational, and marketing materials and information to its members, and supplies technical information to users and specifiers of paving materials. The Association counts more than 1,100 companies as its members.
